Tomorrow, MS 7 will depart Junee at 0005 with EL 63 Saintly and EL 61
up front the train will be a bit shorter than the last couple of legs,
Last Wednesdays train into Sydney was just over 1200 metres long, SM 7
was 1160 metres long, MS 7 on Friday was the same, ( that measurement is
calculated including loco's and the overall length of each wagon in the
consist ), this train led by EL 63 Saintly - El 61 crossed the 38's at
Yerong Creek, after arrival at Junee the train set back onto the
Roundhouse
arrival road and stowed for the weekend,
3362 / 3361 to Young, MAY work on Thursday, a shortage of product is
holding up proceedings,
The Freight Australia trains are 9381 / 3982, which is the wheat consist
of 40 wagons, 9383 / 3984 which is the canola consist of 30 wagons, a
third rake of wagons is due soon , these are to replace 26 of the canola
wagons which are to be returned to Mexico to have the bottom doors
modified for air operated discharge,
A quick run around the country side,
At Temora, 48156, 4879, 4877,
4867,48124, 48152, 8155, 8184, 8130 8244, 8249, 8143, Block Grain GT 9,
GT 1, several diesel pots,
At Cootamundra, 8171, 4884, 4869, 4889, 4862,
48129, 48107, 8255, 8165, 8167, 8182, Block Grain GT 2 and GT 5, a
string of conflats, several diesel pots,
At Junee, 8177, 8253, 855, 48158, 4875, 8110,
8245, Block Grain, GT 3 and GT 7, At the Roundhouse, EL 63 Saintly and
EL 61 were parked at the fuel point, inside, T 373 and T 381, EL 52,
1872 is now complete and is expected to do a trial during the week, the
Sheriff owned 4472 has been moved out from the workshop area and is now
parked in one of the stalls along side 4498,
4403 which has not done much of anything for a while, was moved into the
wash bay a couple of weeks ago and had it's accumulation of Pigeon
droppings removed, new filters, oil and fuel have been put into the
engine, the battery's are being looked at , it is hoped the engine will
be kicked over in the near future, nothing has been done about getting
4807 operational,
