LOOKING BACK: Easter Monday 1969

Central Station on the evening of Easter Monday 7/4/1969, was indeed a very
busy place !!
With the intensity of traffic, it just wasn't possible to keep track of
all the movements.
And I missed quite a few during the evening !!
When you take this into consideration, the amount of traffic, becomes
even more apparent !!

The various yard shunters were :-

I hadn't recorded the presence of 7920 or 7923.
Though one or both may have stayed 'out of sight', in the vicinity of the
carriage sheds, for most of the evening.
