Re: Victorian Train Fire

Aus loco discussion mailing list

As seen on the ABC News it was a trailer-rail Train,
I only caught the tail end of the story and showed the fire burnt
fiercely, 2 trailers damaged badly then cut to showing
the train being split apart, after the fire had subsided I'd say,
as there were Firemen in camera shot, no where near the blaze,
and I guess the second person on that engine would have been
a bit worried having to go back and wind down the dolly wheels
on the pantech/roadrailer unit to uncouple & move the rest of the
train out of range in case it really went up big time!
Hope this of help.
