Just got home from getting a few shots at Picton of
44211 leading 4201 2 end leading on the mt cars to Sydney.
The 42 should lead ex Sydney down to Moss Vale this
arvo.
The power car will be trailing ex Sydney and has
the illuminated "Southern Aurora" sign on the back (Syd end)
The mt cars arrived on time at Picton but left
about a half hour late about 1120am (I think it did as I didn't see it leave)
after some extra shunting resulting from a five pack NRC wagon in the
goods siding (ex BM4 yesterday with shifted load) so the two water gins
that were detached were run around and placed in the dock road (they fit in a
bit better than 33 coal hoppers).
Well anyway off to chase 2 x 48's (yes Ivar I'm
chasing Alco's) on the ARHS train then the 42 and Jumbo.

emd567@hinet.net.au BTW while at Picton a late running NY3 went through
on the down about 1045 hrs with NR41+99 (I'm open to correction on the no.s
as I forgot to write them down).
