I am sorry to say, that with the number of people riding on these trains 
when I've checked them out at Central, this is not surprising.  Two 422s, a 
power car and two coaches for 15 passengers does not make much sense. With 
once a week running, the failure of these services seemed almost 
predestined.

I believe someone on the group did drop a hint that these trains would be 
replaced by something that wasn't loco-hauled, but wasn't a bus.  Any 
further hints ?
