Re: Shuting down 90 class.

For some time now there has been a fuel saving policy to shut down or take offline trailing units on empty coalies. I was told  $7 Million a year was expected to be saved just by doing this. Makes you wonder what Freightcorp's annual fuel bill would be!
Cheers

HI

Spent the day at Matiland and noticed that on a empty 91 carriage coal train
it had 9008 running, 9016 shut down and 9011 running. Had 9016 failed or is
FreightCorp saving fuel.
Also 3830 did'nt turn up today as it did a bearing on it way home yesterday.
They place 4401 on the back and 3801 on the front.

Regards
Stephen
