Association of Tourist Railways
This is the official site of the Association of Tourist Railways which is the peak body for the Tourist Railway Industry primarily located in Victoria.
Australian Railway Historical Society (Victorian Division)
The victorian division of the ARHS. This group runs the Railway museum in Williamstown, Victoria and is also a tour operator.
Bellarine Peninsula Railway
Originally set up to preserve locos from the Fyansford cement line this group has regauged the former Queenscliff branch line to 3ft 6in and operates a number of narrow gauge locomotives and rollingstock from all over Australia between Queenscliff and Drysdale. This group runs steam trains on most Sundays of the year.
Daylesford Spa Country Railway
The DSCR is located at Daylesford and specialises in the railmotors and trolleys of the Victorian railways. Fully restored diesel railmotors operate between Daylesford station and Bullarto every Sunday. Champagne trains run on the first saturday of every month.

Mornington Railway Preservation Society
MRPS run steam and diesel trains over a section of the Mornington branch line on the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne. Currently trains operate out of Moorooduc.
Puffing Billy Railway
Steamrail Victoria
Victoria's biggest operator of mainline steam and diesel tours. Steamrail has restored many Victorian steam locos and historic diesels to service over the last few decades. Steamrail also has a large carriage fleet consisting mainly of "E" and "W" cars.
Seymour Railway Heritage Centre
The Seymour Railway Heritage Centre are a mainline preservation group based at Seymour in North Eastern Victoria. The SRHC has restored a number of carriages, steam locomotive J515 and several diesels.
South Gippsland Railway
The South Gippsland Railway operates a collection of historical diesel locomotives and railcars between Korumburra and Nyora along a section of the former Victorian Railways mainline.
Victorian Goldfields Railway
Located at Maldon in central Victoria, this society has been restoring the line from Maldon to Castlemaine. VGR has also restored two steam locos to service (J549 and K160) as well as two diesels (T333 and F212). The VGR has a large collection of goods and passenger rollingstock from the 50's and 60's. Steam trains operate on most Sundays and Wednesdays of the year.
Walhalla Goldfields Railway
This society has re-built part of the old 2ft 6in gauge Walhalla railway. The train is diesel hauled and runs from Thompson station and along the very scenic Stringers Creek Gorge to Walhalla.
Yarra Valley Tourist Railway
The Yarra Valley Tourist Railway is restoring the scenic line from Yarra Glen to Healesville. Trolley services currently operate from Healesville station to the tunnel near Tarrawarra.
