I would like to thank Ian Bowles for the many hours of work he has
put into developing more realistic brake and physics values for
all Australian MSTS rolling stock.

This model was produced using Train Sim Modeler v1.1.

About the prototype:
--------------------

The RY wagons were re-coded from a variety of IZ, GZ and HZ open wagons
in 1964 and were used for general goods service. The earlier numbered
wagons featured outside sill underframes and rivited bodies while the
later ones (the subject of this model) featured standard underframes
and welded construction.

Withdrawals commenced in the late 1970's and continued through the early
1980's. At least one of these wagons is preserved with Seymour Railway
Heritage Centre (http://www.srhc.org.au/).
