Finally, I would like to thank Russell Beer, Richard Lauder,
Matthew Austin, Ian Bowles, Yuri Sos and Lionel Camilleri for beta
testing this model.

Ian Bowles has spent many hours developing more realistic brake
and physics values for all Australian MSTS rolling stock. This
locomotive uses his brake and physics upgrades.

The articles on the T class by Jim Leppit that were published
in the "Australian Model Railway Magazine" December 1990 and
February 1991 issues were used as a reference source while
constructing these models.

John Cleverdon's Locopage (http://locopage.railpage.org.au/)
was used as a reference for the specifications of the H class.

Specular lighting enhancements added with MSTS Shape File
Manager. http://www.highworth.freeuk.com/

This model was produced using Train Sim Modeler v1.1.

About the prototype:
--------------------

The five H class units were delivered between December 1968 and March
1969. They were almost identical to the final series of T class locos
except they had 12 tons of ballast added to increase their weight to
80 tons for use with the hump shunting facility at Melbourne yard.
These locos were originally delivered as T413 - T417, but they were
quickly re-classified to H1-5

During the 70's and 80's they were usually found around the Melbourne
yard area, but were given runs on the mainline to destinations such
as Geelong and Bacchus Marsh. When the hump yard was closed in 1987
they were transferred to general duties. In the wheat season they were
often found propelling trains around the Geelong grain loop.

All five H classes are still in service with Freight Australia.
