It should be noted that this is not a complete list. I will try to cover most of the special events and tours but there will be some omissions. Wed 26 Steamrail Victoria "The Hanging Rock Race Train" - Diesel hauled tour to Woodend and the Hanging Rock races - Cancelled due to RFR shutdown. February 2005: Sat 19 Australian Railway Historical Society Great Railway Swap Meet at St Andrew's Uniting Church Hall, Malvern Road, Gardiner. Melways ref: Map 59 H7. Sun 27 Steamrail Victoria T's to Maryborough. Visit Maryborough behind a combination of restored T class locomotives. March 2005: Sun 20 Steamrail Victoria Local shuttles between Mordialloc and Caulfield stopping at Cheltenham and Bentleigh. Tickets and timetable available from Mordialloc and Caulfield stations. April 2005: Sat 23 DOI Revitalising Victorian Rail open day at Spencer Street station. 10:30am - 3:30pm. May 2005: Sun 14 Seymour Railway Heritage Centre Steam hauled special from Seymour to the Violet Town market or Benalla and return. Sun 22 Steamrail Victoria Double headed K class to Seymour. June 2005: Sun 12 Steamrail Victoria Suburban steam shuttles between Glen Waverley and Darling. Mon 27 Steamrail Victoria "The Gippslander" to Traralgon with R761. Wed 29 Steamrail Victoria "The Vintage Train" to Bacchus Marsh with a K class. July 2005: Fri 1 Steamrail Victoria "The Spirit of Progress" to Seymour with R761. Sun 3 Steamrail Victoria Suburban steam shuttles between Camberwell and Mitcham. Mon 4 Steamrail Victoria "The Geelong Flyer" steam hauled tour. Note: If the Geelong line is unavailable due to RFR works the tour will operate to Seymour Tue 5 Steamrail Victoria "The Vintage Train" to Bacchus Marsh with a K class.
