The following example shows how the Single Colour Light Signalling system in NSW works.

			Green     Full Clear, or "2" - Minimum of 2 signals before a stop signal.
Auto		Home

			Pulsating Yellow     Medium, or "1½" - Minimum of 2 signals before a stop signal, or 1 to a turnout.
Auto		Home

			Yellow     Caution, or "1" - Minimum of 1 signal before a stop signal
Auto		Home

			Red      Stop
Auto		Home

			Turnout.       The next signal may be at stop.
Left		Right

			Pulsating Turnout.       The next signal is not at stop.
