REGULAR SERVICE
STEAM (1989-1994)
In the period 1989 to 1994, the Victorian
PTC made a decision to allow steam locos, on occasion, to haul regularly
scheduled passenger and freight trains. A host of interesting and spectacular
operations has resulted. This tape covers many such operations, R,
J and K class locos on trains for crew training, and some magnificent performances
ensued, especially R class performing Geelong passenger duties.
Sixty minutes of top steam action.
