For those that are interested in Train Number's the Train Number for R711's
Trip to Ballarat on the 05/07/99 was
9199
It is due to return sometime Friday, I dont know which way it will run, but
I post a note on Thursday about 7.30pm and let people know.

It might be too late for anyone to do anything about this, but R711 is
in Nth Geelong Yard on a down goods waiting to go to Ballarat, today
1540h Monday 5 July 1999.

And when was the last time two R classes crossed on the Melbourne -
Geelong line (or anywhere else for that matter) - and I mean before
today at about 1330 when R711 on the down crossed R707 on the 1325 up
Geelong pass.

It could only happen "south of the border", heh, heh, heh!
