Train #7122 comprising of approximately 20 loaded concrete sleeper wagons was
through Eden Hills, SA at 10.35am with CLF4/704/GM43 haul GM22 up front.
This train was delayed around three hours at Mt Lofty due to the sleepers
shifting on three wagons and a fourth wagon having a defective coupler. 704
was picked up at Tailem Bend. 7122 had also been delayed around two hours at
Dimboola due to problems with GM22 running in multiple with the other locos.
Ended up being a long shift for the hard working ASR drivers on the train
from Dimboola to Mile End!

Also YN2 has NR/NR/NR52 on it, with all three supposedly going through to
Melbourne. This train was delayed at Mt Lofty because of the above mentioned
problems, and probably would have left Mt Lofty at about 9.45am.

Cheers
Martin

P.S. I heard GM22 is back in Adelaide for a service.
