Last Thursday afternoon, as the Through Endeavour departed Picton on the
Down, I noticed a train load of concrete sleepers on the Up, hauled by an
aqua/green coloured unit, with white lettering on the back 'Unit 1' or
'Unit 2'
What is it ?
Regards,

4819 was noted this afternoon attached to 4827 on a rail set on the
flying junctions at Central. They were dropping rail for the new airport
line. 4819 has been repainted in a striking new livery of an aqua
green/blue, white and yellow. It seemed to have some sort of whiskers
on the No 2 end. I wish I had my camera, as it was sitting in a good
position for photos. I saw it at 3pm, and it moved off at 5pm headed to
pick up rail on the City inner line. I phoned a few people to let them
know about this, but unfortunately no one got a photo. Maybe next
weekend.

I hope this helps
