Bob,
Sometimes I feel someone works against us in this hobby :)
I went out yesterday and here she sits in the exchange sidings at
Botany. We await on Port bridge for 1 1/2 hours and only 8047 is seen
shunting. We walk down to the far end of the bridge just in time to see
her move out of Botany. We could not get to the car quick enough and she
left on her merry way. D'OH
We drove straight to Cooks River and missed her by 10 minutes due to
traffic. To add salt to the wound, 30 minutes before an X class left
Cooks for a load to White Bay. What really hurts is that I was planning
to go straight to Cooks instead of Botany in the first place.
Anyway, the day improved with the arrival of another Austrac train and
my first shot of an NB.
I will continue to try for 8027 and let you know how this goes.
