Were supposed to be going to Maroona to replace CLP13 on the rail laying
train and GMs 42 & 43 on the sleeper train. Perhaps plans changed at
short notice. I was rumoured on Monday that the GMs were required
urgently in SA because of grain train operations and the CLP had
supposedly failed. The CLP and GMs were at Maroona and Westmere
respectively last Wed 17/2 and were viewed from a passing Ghan which
incidently arrived Melbourne at 2152 behind NR94. And we passed
Gheringhap Loop at 2018 crossing NR92 & NR113 on a down super freighter.
