SL16, SP20, ST4 and freights were diverted via Wollongong. SL16 arrived at
Central at about 18.20 (just over 2 hours late) and SP20 at 18.52. ST4 was
expected at about 20.40.
ST1 was to run via Wollongong, and will be late into Melbourne tomorrow.
I was quite looking forward to returning to Canberra via Wollongong, even if
I did get in late. Countrylink was debating many options, including some
fast shunting of the NP24 arrival to make two 3-car sets and run one to
Canberra. At one stage they were even considering using the loco hauled
cars! Unfortunately it turned out to be buses departing ay 18.35.
SP22 was only to have been about 6 min late into Sydney, but may have been
replaced by buses from Moss Vale and returned empty. When my bus got to
Canberra at 22.45 there was an Xplorer being shunted into No.2 road.
