Class - Diesel Electric |

The 1502's work similar trains to the 1460
class, but over a wider area, and as well, hauled non-electrified suburban
trains. So far, four of the locos have also been sold to NZ, and then
returned as part of ATN's 2000
class. The 1502's are now in the process of being withdrawn from
service with only 10 being kept 'mothballed' at the Redbank workshops. |
