1200
Class - Diesel Electric |
| <-BACK |
| The 1200 class initially saw use for wheat
traffic, but later on spent most of their time on the main passenger
trains. 1208 was rebuilt as 1225 in 1984-5, using parts from 1252 and 1253
class locos, and also being changed to the narrow body of the 1250 class.
It was nicknamed "Hybrid" after this work. |
