Boyd Munro hired 3642 to do long tour around the state called "Terror Australis". The train is seen at Sunrise at Exeter, (17K), and Wingello, 1, (25K), 2, (31K), 25/6/94. The next day, it was seen between Holmwood and Woodstock, (55K), 26/6/94 (DJ)

3642 ran a day tour to Canberra, seen crossing the viaduct south of Tarago, (67K), and climbing the 1 in 40 at Mount Fairy, (50K), 3/9/94 (DJ)
