M.M.T.B.    L 103

Built in 1921 by James Moore & Co as one of six trams numbered 101 to 106.  This tram was acquired on 26/05/82 after having run 1,793,116 miles in service on the Melbourne System.  This car is currently undergoing restoration to the 1960's era appearance.
 
 




M.M.T.B. W2 357

Built in 1926 by the M.M.T.B., it is of a particular significance as it was the last tram to be constructed at the Holden St workshops.  This tram entered service on 18/04/77, after having run 2, 160, 827 miles in service on the Melbourne system.  This car will be restored back to the  as-built "W" configuration.
 
 




M.M.T.B. W2 407

Built in 1926 by the M.M.T.B., Preston Workshops.  This tram entered service on 05/10/26, an was withdrawn on 12/01/82.  This tram was acquired on 18/02/82, after having run 2, 523, 134 kms in service on the Melbourne system.  This car has been restored to represent the final service condition of the W2 class cars.
 
 




M.M.T.B. W3 663

Built in 1933 by the M.M.T.B. Preston workshops.  This tram entered service on 27/11/33, and was withdrawn 04/69.  This tram was acquired on 31/05/76, after having run 1, 614, 312 miles in service on the Melbourne System.  This car will be restored to the 1930's condition.
 
 




M.M.T.B. W4 670

Built in 1933 by the M.M.T.B. Preston Workshops.  This tram entered service on 13/11/33, and was withdrawn 10/68.  This tram was acquired on 23/04/76, after having run 1, 508, 696 miles, in service on the Melbourne system.  This car has been restored to the 1950's condition.
 
 




VR 41

Built in 1923 by the Victorian Railways Newport workshops.  This tram entered service on 03/02/23 and was withdrawn on 31/12/58.  This car was acquired on 27/10/77.  This car will be restored to its as-built condition.
