Any sightings in Bold are sightings that I think are of special interest, e.g., Lash up’s of three or more locos, rare locos, number of wagons, Private trains hauling other private train’s loading, etc, etc. In column 4, Type of train. G = Grain. Gy = Gypsum. C = Cement. O = Oil. V = Van. L = Log. Cnt’s = Containers. S/Frt = Super Freighter. T/Rail = Trailerail.
In column 6, Loco numbers. If there is a ? before the first loco this means that the front of the train was not seen and it may be possible that there were other locos at the front. Locos not identified will have X’s in place of the numbers, e.g. ?G515+G5XX+Xxx+H5.

FV = Freight Victoria.

WCR = West Coast Railways.
NRC = National Rail Corporation.

In column 9, Number of vehicles. W = Wagons. V = pass cars, power vans & baggage car. T = Trailerail's P = Platforms, NRC count there 5 pack wagons as one wagon but I count them as 5 platforms. e.g. NRC would count a train with 10 five packs as 10 wagons and I would record it as 50P, Platform’s.
