Load was 325 tonnes: according to SRV's book, J class is rated at 370
tonnes for Ingliston Bank, so 10% under full goods load. The 30
second misting of ultra fine rain just before the J got there didn't
help.

The P couldn't get over 30km/h from the Armco to Bank Box Loop either
(what's the load for a P up the Bank?).

The train slipped *before* the Armco and had come to a halt just
under the bridge.... the S curve starts about 100m up the hill (down
for DEL) from the bridge.

IIRC, one of the crew said that the J had struggled on the grades out
of Seymour earlier in the day as well.

The carriages couldn't be that much overweight, could they?
