Brisbane NRR 421 October

The Northern Rivers Railroad have plans to visit Brisbane with their "Ritz Rail" carriages hauled by
their 421 class GM bulldog nose locos.

Dates on the promo flyer I was given are;

Murwillumbah [8:30 am] to Roma St [3:20 pm] $65   Sat 30 OCT
Brisbane dinner tour including meal [Glenapp] $85   5pm to 10:30pm  Sat 30 OCT
Brisbane day tour [Kyogle] 9am to 3:30pm   Sun 31 OCT $70
Brisbane 4pm to Murwillumbah 11:15pm   $50 Sun 31 OCT

We were very satisfied passengers on their Murwillumbah to Casino return "Country Lunch" trip today.

 We dined in their dining car; Interesting herb bread / tasty salad / gourmet cold meat selection /
cheese plate / wine and all included in  the ticket price. The plates were real, with their Ritz
Rail logo on the dinner plates as well. Wine was in real glasses as well. Not a plastic cup in sight
and nor was there an  XPT type cardboard box to be seen!!   

Morning tea, in the dining car, was also served as part of the ticket price.

42107 / 09 hauled today's train with one off line each way.
