Not quite Mark, I was there a few years back, and the
platform was being used by the Yanks for unloading and
temporary storage of goods from road transport for
their Narunga facility South of Woomera which is due to
close soon.

Some years ago the apex of the Pimba triangle was being
used by AN to transfer freight to and from Roxby Downs,
but it died not long before AN and all traffic went by
road, the increase in trucks between Pimba and Adelaide
was incredible.

I understand from a bit I read recently in the Adelaide
"Crow-vertiser" that ASR were moving Roxby Downs
freight again, but like most newspapers, failed to give
any real details, eg; they did not say in the piece I
read whether ASR were hauling from the old AN facility
at Pimba.

I hope to be down that way soon, so will check it out.
