No it's not. Logs are being hauled by road from Bombala to Pt Kembla for
export. If you reopen the line, you can tranship at Cooma.

Residents of Queanbeyan are getting worried about the number of log trucks
in the main street (the Kings Highway), to the point where the Council
voted unanimously to reduce the speed limit of the main drag to 40km/h.

The Coalition's solution at the NSW election was to propose a $35 million
Queanbeyan bypass. $35 million would reopen a lot of railway to perform
exactly the same purpose.
