The C17 was working fireman training runs Mon-Thurs. It ran to Ipswich and
Caboolture on Monday and Tuesday, Sandgate and Thorneside on Wednesday and
two trips to Bethania on Thursday. There may be more trips in another week
or two.

They did take passengers if anyone happened to find out about it. I
understand some school groups were carried. Normal citytrain fares were
charged.

The Mayne diesel shed is nominally closed although I believe locos are
still stored there between trips. The depot is to be converted to a
heritage depot so the steam locos and carriages can be based and serviced
there.
