A busy day indeed,  9 am eastbound TNT mixed
Nrs105$45 in charge

11:30CST  BHP steel ,flat plate and Tin Plate Rolls
westbound to Whyalla .Locos in charge NR118/60.

2:45 BHP steel ingots from Wyalla Rolling Mill
Eastbound locos unknown.

3pm  Indian Pacific arrives 1 3/4 hrs late , hold up due
to collision with a car parked on the Rails at Parkes
slight damage to NR104,  Three cars and crew travelled
 up from  Adelaide with fresh food, which was transferred
with great haste.

Squirters who hade moved into the Crews Quarters finally
left after receiving an Eviction order.
