Yes the new signalling system failed its first test.  In the morning, my
train from north of Hornsby crawled from Mt Colah to Hornsby and finally
left Hornsby down the North Shore 20 minutes late.  In the evening trains
were totally mixed up.  My train left North Sydney 10 minutes late and left
Hornsby for Berowra 15 minutes  late.

The resignalling and alterations to Hornsby have taken about a year so far -
you would think with all that time the railways could plan for a smooth
changeover.
