The ARHS Railfest at Bassendean WA on Sunday November 28 was most successful
in every way although the temperature could have been 10 degrees cooler.Full
credit to all involved.
On display from Westrail were S2103,Q305 and L268 and from NR AN9 (complete
with AN decals) and NR19 (Maitland). On perusal of the cab of the NR my son
noticed the toilet door had male & female symbols and asked how many female
crew NR had. I don't know!
Does anyone know if there are any female loco personnel withNR or is this in
anticipation or is it being politically correct? Probably answer #3 !
