Turrella station (NSW)

Does anyone know what purpose the "fixed red" signal, at the East hills end
of the Up platform at Turrella station, serves or will serve"?

At present there appears to be no direct access from the Down line from
Tempe or the Airport line for a train to access this platform to terminate?

 Is there provision, on the Airport line, for a Down train to run "wrong
road", from somewhere near the new Wolli Creek station, to access the Up
platform at Turrella?
