At Stratford, Vic. this morning....

Greetings all.
Arrived at Stratford this morning to see wagons sitting in the yard. Then I
realised they were moving. RTL1 was taking a log train to Hillside. Crossing
signals are still inactive and so one of the crew gets out and holds up a
red flag. A train ran yesterday as well, it seems and there should be daily
running from Monday.
Apparently Freight Vic are intending to run to Bairnsdale eventually, as are
V/Line Passenger.
Little work has been done on the Avon river bridge as yet however. I'm told
there is a 15t axle limit on the bridge. This is to be raised to 17t. Should
allow a T class to operate on the line.
Light locos are still running to Sale for crew training. X39-P19 today.
