That is not disused - it is still used to turn back trains at Martin Place.

They are still used to store trains - check the rails, they are nice and

There are two. Trains can continue into the tunnel and the driver and guard
change ends in the turnback siding. Or they can change ends in Platform 2
and have the citybound train leave from the arrival platform. An arrangement
similar to that which existed at Wynyard Platform 1 & 2 would have been
better though.
