No - black is so, so boring, about 98 per cent of the steam locos of NSW
were painted black.  Let 3830 remain black.  How about painting it
Freightcorp Blue? Or a light blue like Mallard?  It would look even better
in apple green similar to Flying Scotsman, or dare I say a deeper shade of
Brunswick Green like the old Great Western.  Only trouble it's funnel isn't
visible to display a nice copper top.
