The Sydney 10pm ABC radio news indicated
* no trains from Newcastle to Maitland, Dungog, Scone
* no northbound CountryLink services -- "too late to organise buses"
Didn't mention the West or Sydney - Newcastle.
(I guess this will be posted at www.abc.net.au/news/state/nsw/ when someone
comes in in the morning!)

One suspects that, like some of the Sydney station staffing disputes, this
is being played by the state government as "announce the details as late as
possible so as to maximise the inconvenience".
