Here is a list of the places you can see the POTS thingys on the sleepers
(The number in brackets is the number at that location, usually each end
of the station, and start of sidings)
Belgrave (3)
Upwey (4)
Upper Ferntree Gully (11)
Ferntree Gully (4)
Bayswater (5)
Lilydale (at least 9)
Mooroolbark (4)
Ringwood (12)
Mitcham (5)
Blackburn (6)
Box Hill (6)
Chatham (6)

Then the Glen Waverley line has been done, not sure which stations.

So it is normally the stations with points/junctions with the expection
of Chatham.
