AFAIK it was GM31, GM32, GM34 that worked in Victoria:  I never saw

GM23 was definately on loan to VR from late 1983 to at least early 1985. I
believe it replaced GM35.

Yuri, the numbers 31, 32 and 34 were the first batch that stayed in Vic for
yonks.

In the early 80's we also had 23, 24, 27, 28, 30, 32 again and 35 (not at the
same time though) Have a look through some Newsrails of the period.
