How about using a more clueful approach, bite the bullet and take everyone 
elses suggestion and upload it to a webpage?

Geocities offer free webspace. For the time it will take you to setup your 
BBS or even upload the files to a binaries newsgroup, it will take 
approximately the same time to upload them to Geocities.
