XPT train collides with car

The high-speed Sydney to Melbourne XPT train and a car have collided in
the New South Wales southern highlands.

No-one was seriously injured.

Police say the collision between the train and the four-wheel drive
happened at a level crossing near Marulen at 10:10am AEST this morning.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the crash and State Rail
officials are determining whether the train can continue its journey to
Melbourne.
