Geoff Parkinson, until recently tour organiser for the Australian Railway
Historical Society (ACT Division), died suddenly last weekend, aged only 56.
Geoff was well known for organising innovative rail tours and also known
widely amongst rail preservation groups. He was an inveterate rail
traveller, and would have been a familiar face to many Countrylink and
V-Line Staff.  Geoff's funeral will be held at the Woronora Crematorium on
Wednesday 7 April at 11.30 am.  Sympathy goes to his father Bill, his mother
Doreen and brother Neil from all Society members.  A contingent of Geoff's
friends have chartered a coach to the funeral from Canberra, if interested
