New style PIDS at Bowen Hills.

An experimental Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) screen has been
installed at Bowen Hills. At present there is only one screen which is
fitted beneath the awning on the city end of the office building on Platform
2. It is designed to display information by scrolling text across a dot
matrix LED screen. At present, it is only displaying "This is a test
message".

Current PIDS used at Brunswick St, Central, Roma St and Toowong are of the
television monitor types. These were once operated by the PSO's at Mayne
Control Centre but are now locally operated by station staff.
