On ASW SG VLF use ETAS (End of train air system), a home grown (half
baked) system that works sometimes. NR tried this and abandoned it in
favour of Digitair SBUs. All NR trains between Adelaide and Melbourne
and all trains hauled by an AWARE loco use this system.
