LIMITS of ELECTRIC TRAIN WORKING

Noticed a sign on the down at the Bomaderry end of Helensburgh  "Wide
electric stock must not pass this point." Does this mean the suburban sets
running Thirroul-Port Kembla are worked as out-of-gauge loads between
Helensburgh & Thirroul?

Anybody got an up-to-date list of what cars are or were in each category
("Wide", "medium", narrow")? (And where they can go?)
