B class - introduced 1951, GM 16-567B engine, 1500hp, double ended.
S class - introduced 1957, GM 16-567C engine, 1800hp, single ended.
A class - rebuilt from B class in 1983, GM 16-645E3B engine, 2475hp.

Those are some of the major differences. The A has a near identical cab
layout to the N class, but I'm sure some of our drivers can point out some
specific differences.
