The impression I got from the book was that Colin is a
well-established rail expert in Oz, and I assumed (although I know one
shouldn't) that one or the other of you might have an idea where I
could contact the man.

TIP: he is almost certainly in Queensland, somewhere.

And don't come back and tell me you haven't read the book. If you
haven't, then shame on you!
