Can't give you a precise date BUT:

Echuca to Deniliquin railmotor finished on Jan. 11 1979 and Bendigo to
Deniliquin bus started running sometime in 1979. I have a feeling that the
railmotor service, Bendigo to Deniliquin was closed in one hit but I can't be
sure.
