I have in front of me Blackburn to Ringwood 3/84 and it has Platform 3, and 2

The roads are even numbered No3, No 2A, No2, No1, funny that 1/99 diagram show
it as 1 and 2 platform (because that is what the public is told) but the plans
at Heritage Victoria show the existing as 2 and 3.

At least with Box Hill, Platform 1 is there, and has been used.  (Now I have
started something)
