Former passenger cars in Meeks Road Junction (NSW)

I seen 2 U-boat trailers and 2 "zoo painted" powered cars parked in the
petrol tankers repairing yard (Meeks Road Junction). Are those passenger
carriages going to the Cooks River Yard to be scrapped?

And I seen the U-boats window removed and covered with wooden boards, is the
window used for spare parts? And what is the purpose to cover the former
passenger cars windows with wooden boards?
