V/line Train that left Kilmore East (seymour line) at 16:26 5/3/99

I am a semi-regular traveler on this route, particularally this train.
It is normally 3 carriges, 2 econ (one with snack bar) and first. This
evening it had anouther first tacked on the end, that was being used
as an econ. I did not get the number but it seemed older (nicer) than
the normall one up the front. It had head-rests, proper foot-rests (as
opposed to a bit of pipe), and what looked like it had once been
individual passanger lighting.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
